We want to hear the story of your departed and beloved veteran or miltary service member…

You are invited to honor your departed military service member friend or family for Día de los Muertos.

I’ve had the honor to record a Gentle Centering meditation for this beautiful global community art project with Life on Earth Art to exhibit at the Museum of Sonoma County.

In the spirit of El Día de los Muertos, this project acknowledges both pain and joy of life, in celebration and remembrance of the lives of our departed and beloved veterans or active-duty military members. The collective creation of this exhibit presents a healing opportunity to share, honor, and commemorate.

Just go to the link, follow the instructions. The Gentle Centering meditation sets the stage for meeting tender feelings as they arise and unfold, in preparation for recording a memory or story about your friend or family member. We have prompts at the link to help guide you.

**There is also an in-person opportunity to participate and create a commemorative hojalata — a traditional Mexican folk tin art piece for any person you’d like to celebrate. You can sign up for workshops at Life on Earth Art and the Museum of Sonoma County. Details are on the website.

Autumn naturally offers us a time to reflect and remember. May memories be a salve for your tender heart. May you find joy, love, and community along your path toward healing.
